Helpful Information for Current & Future Owners
The intro should explain that Sugar Hollow provides helpful guidance for families bringing home a Miniature Schnauzer puppy, including insurance, nutrition, socialization, and ongoing puppy care.
Puppy Food
Miniature Schnauzers can be especially sensitive to diet-related health issues, which is why proper nutrition is an important part of your puppy’s long-term health. While we take great care to reduce health risks through responsible breeding practices and genetic health testing, your puppy’s continued wellbeing will also depend on the food, routine, and lifestyle they receive at home.
For this reason, we strongly recommend continuing PawTree puppy food at least until your puppy reaches 2 years of age. Balanced, premium nutrition from the start can help support healthy growth, digestion, skin, coat, and overall wellbeing throughout your puppy’s life.
Puppy Socialization
Our puppies participate in Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) as part of their early development. We also begin age-appropriate socialization to help them grow into confident, well-adjusted companions.
Socialization continues after your puppy goes home. We encourage families to keep introducing safe new experiences, routines, sounds, and people as their puppy grows.
Puppy Insurance
Every Sugar Hollow puppy includes a Trupanion Go Home Day Offer with 30 days of complimentary pet insurance.
Coverage begins immediately once activated, with no waiting periods. This added protection can help during the first important weeks as your puppy settles into their new home.
AKC Registration
All adults in our program are registered with the American Kennel Club.
We are happy to provide proof of parent registration, but puppies are not available with full AKC registration at the listed price. Limited registration may be discussed when appropriate.
